LYNDONVILLE — The much-anticipated annual Caledonia County Fair (CCF) gets underway Tuesday night with a huge dinner presented for sponsors as a thank you, followed by a lively auction of donated items.

The Caledonia County Fair expresses gratitude to Vermont’s Original - the Bag Balm company. Rick Peck, center, a representative from Vermont’s Original, is seen with Chris Vance, left, and Dick Lawrence from the fair at the recent annual meeting. The company was given a plaque in recognition for its volunteer labor this summer when a crew of employees painted Floral Hall at the fairgrounds. Said Lawrence, president of the CCF, “It was a great benefit to the CCF - great community service from a local company.”
