Gwendolyn (Gwen) H. Corey, also well-known by many as “Ma,” of Littleton, N.H., passed away on Oct. 13, 2021, at the Lafayette Health Care Center in Franconia after a brief illness. She was born on May 10, 1928, to Albert and Hannah (Libby) Riley. She was a lifelong resident of Littleton, living most of her life on Drew Street. In 1943 she married Erwin F. Corey and together they raised 10 children up at the top of the hill on Drew Street. After raising her own kids, she took in foster children and did babysitting for many others for many years, which she truly enjoyed doing.

Our mother, Ardell Allard Mansfield, of Lebanon, N.H., passed away on Oct. 2, 2021, three months shy of her 99th birthday. As one friend described my mother, she was a force of nature, a strong, determined, outspoken woman with a sharp mind right to the end of her life. The most important thing to our mother was her family - her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Joan White Hubbard, age 78, of Cross Avenue, St. Johnsbury, Vt., passed at her home, Sunday morning, Sept. 5, 2021, with her family beside her.

Florence Mabel Mathewson, 83, of Liberty Street in St. Johnsbury, passed away on September 1, 2021, at Northeast Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury.

Richard (Dickie) Lyle Pray of Albany, died on his birthday, on Aug. 26, 2021. He was born in Randolph and lived in Tunbridge until the age of 7. Son of Herbert and Alice (Martin) Pray they moved to Albany.
