Local group DUMP’s petition asking the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources to designate Lake Memphremagog “in crisis” is now in the hands of ANR Secretary Julie Moore.

DERBY — The Derby Select Board voted unanimously Monday to support a petition by a local environmental group to ask Vermont to label international Lake Memphremagog as “a lake in crisis.”

Over 2,700 have signed a change.org petition calling on Secretary Julia Moore of the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources (ANR) to designate Lake Memphremagog a “Lake in Crisis.”
