Roy Barry, 50, of Coventry, was arrested for first degree aggravated domestic assault, interference with access to emergency services and unlawful mischief July 20 in Coventry. Vermont State Police, along with an Orleans Sheriff’s Deputy and the Newport Ambulance, responded to a reported family fight at a residence on Main Street.

A St. Johnsbury man was arrested on a warrant July 3 on Summer Street, St. J. According to police, a concerned citizen called police about a suspicious person on Summer Street.

Kayla Cowdrey, a 28-year-old resident of Whitefield, N.H., was arrested on a warrant in St. Johnsbury June 28. According to St. Johnsbury Police, Cowdrey was stopped on Bay Street for an alleged motor vehicle violation and subsequently taken into custody when police discovered there was an active warrant for her arrest. Cowdrey was lodged in Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.
