BETHLEHEM — Will Lopus delivered a hat trick and the Lisbon Panthers came up with a big road victory, 5-0, over Profile in a Division IV boys soccer clash on Monday.
Austin Fisher scored once and assisted twice, Dylan Colby tallied and Max Cryans and Daryion McDonald recorded assists for Lisbon, which handed Profile its third straight loss.
Andrew Strout made 11 saves for the visitors, who led 3-0 at the break.
“We played really well tonight from start to finish,” said Panther coach Les Poore. “We were solid at all aspects of the game. We beat a very good team on the road and the team is getting better each game. We’ve had some players really step up and it’s taking the team to another level.”
Lisbon (4-2) closes the regular season at Woodsville and Profile (4-4) hosts Lin-Wood on Thursday.
WHITE MOUNTAINS 0, GORHAM 0: In Whitefield, the Spartans settled for a draw in their regular-season home finale.
WM had the advantage in shots (15-9) and corners (7-2).
“We dominated most of the game, played well just could not capitalize on our shots,” said WM coach Andy Cliche. “Keigen George played well in goal and we were able to utilize players off the bench to give us quality minutes.”
WM (1-4-2) visits Berlin on Wednesday.
PROFILE 9, LISBON 0: In Bethlehem, Madison McLaren netted four goals and Sophie Bell added three in the Patriots’ home rout.
Maddie Koehler and Elaian DiMaggio each added one for the victors.
Profile (5-3) closes the regular season with home game versus Lin-Wood while Lisbon (1-4-1) ends with a home game against Woodsville, both on Thursday.
WHITE MOUNTAINS 2, GORHAM 1: In Gorham, Josie DeAngelis scored the go-ahead goal as the Spartans rallied for a road victory.
Gorham went up 1-0 on a WM own goal. The Spartans rebounded quickly. After several attempts, Morgan Doolan delivered a well placed ball from a corner. Lily Kenison got a shot off that bounced off a defender for Clemmie Southworth to finish on goal, tying the game 1-all.
In the 64th minute, Doolan again delivered on a corner kick. Kenison once again was able to get a touch on it and send it into the center, where after a scramble DeAngelis scored the winning goal.
MONTPELIER 3, ST. J 0: In Montpelier, Sienna Mills netted a hat trick, two coming in the first half, to fuel the Solons.
Hayden Wilkins had 15 saves for St. J (0-3), which plays its first home game Wednesday at 4 against BFA-St. Albans. It is senior day and the Hilltoppers’ regular-season finale.
NORTH COUNTRY 0, LAMOILLE 0, 2OT: In Hyde Park, the Falcons applied the pressure all game with 19 shots and nine corner kicks, but came away with a tie.
NC goalkeeper Mckenna Marquis made five saves for the visitors while Lamoille’s Emily Hutchins made 12.
The Falcons (4-2-1) play at Northfield/ Williamstown on Wednesday at 4.
