Outlook: This season should be a strong year," coach Going stated. "Even will the loss of nine seniors, we have added some key young players such as Alex Curtis, Corina Boggess and Lily McCabe. In particular, the return of Nadia Wasuta from an ACL injury provides us an even stronger offense than last season. Nadia along with Bri, last year's high scorer, should be a good combination up front.

"In the midfield, we still have Grace Ezyk who is highly skilled and able to control the middle of the field. Olivia Conway will be running the defense with great help from Cassie Snyder and freshman Ada Wharton. In goal, Ashley Gooden is our first option, but will be well supported by both sophomores Madyson Hopps and newcomer Lily Stinehour. As a team we have established that our team season goal is to host a playoff game."


Littleton Crusaders

Division IV

Coach: Kory Pinard (11th season)

Last Year's Record: 17-2-1 (lost 1-0 to Sunapee in OT in championship game)

Players To Watch: Returning two All-State players to the team. Dori Horne (honorable mention), a dominating presence on the field, will take control of the defense. Returning defenders Brittany Favreau, Aimee Hastings and Chloe Pilgrim will be joined by Meagan Bircher and Olivia Paradice. Sydney Pinard (second team, 2010) missed most of last season due to injury and will once again control the center midfield. Also returning in the midfield is Natasha Favreau, Hannah Lavoie and Mercedes Negron. They will be joined by Olivia Chartier and Alison Mackay. Maggie Hadlock, second in scoring last season, will work up front with Maya Northrop and Madison McNamara. Starting in goal is Jordan Odell.

Outlook: "This team is returning seven starters from last year's team and a few newcomers with a lot of varsity experience," Pinard stated. "They have the same goal as all the previous teams; make a long run into the playoffs."


Colebrook Mohawks

Division IV

Coach: Katie Parker (9th season)

Last Year's Record: 10-7-1 (lost to Littleton 4-3 in quarters)

Outlook: This years team will be a work in progress," Parker states. "Meshing the veteran players and the newcomers to find the right chemistry will be a daily battle. Look for improvement over the course of the season.

"With low numbers, a key injury could be devastating, and we have to be well conditioned to play 80 minutes every day," the coach added. "Every game will be a challenge for us. The senior leaders/players have to show a great deal of leadership on and off the field for us to be successful. The team is hoping to be competitive every game, and look strong going into playoffs."

Outlook: "This season looks good for us," Lawton stated. "After graduating only a couple seniors most of the ladies are back. Young team with lots of talent and experience playing in our system. Very strong freshman class with some seriously- skilled players. Newcomers are top notch, and we hope that they push us over the top."
