TOP PERFORMERS

Sophie Bell knocked in the game-winner in second overtime, a direct kick from just outside the 18, to lift unbeaten Profile to a 2-1 win over Woodsville.

St. Johnsbury’s Evan Thornton-Sherman lowered his own course record by 29 seconds, winning in 16 minutes, 9 seconds in the Hilltoppers’ cross-country running home opener. It was his third course record in three starts this fall.

North Country’s James Cilwik was the fastest boys runner in a cross-country meet at Primeau Woods. He won in 17:35.

Sullivan Davis scored twice and Gavin Williams had three assists as Lyndon outlasted Thetford 3-2.

Tucker Chapman delivered the overtime game-winner from 25 yards out and Brandon Demars scored twice as St. J toppled Brattleboro 3-2.

Mike Hampson scored twice as Littleton blanks rival White Mountains 3-0.

Clara Andre (assist) and Taylor Farnsworth each scored twice as St. J field hockey shutout North Country 4-0.
