FILE - America's Alejandro Zendejas celebrates scoring against Tigres during a Mexican soccer league match at Azteca stadium in Mexico City, Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022. Zendejas, a 24-year-old forward who played twice for Mexico, is among 13 players who could make their U.S. national team debuts under interim coach Anthony Hudson in exhibitions against Serbia on Jan. 25 and Colombia three days later.

CARSON, Calif. (AP) — Alejandro Zendejas insists he isn't thinking about his future beyond his first training camp with the senior U.S. national team this week.

Zendejas won't stop anyone from speculating about the talented forward's long-term international home.
